Grants to New Jersey nonprofit organizations and for-profit entities serving eligible locations to provide services to families and individuals in crisis. Funding is intended for activities and programs that benefit those who are facing a family management, housing, or financial emergency. Eligible applicants serve the residents of Morris County. The primary target populations for this funding are homeless, working poor, at-risk children between the ages of 0 and 12, families, and individuals.

The Department of Human Services is looking to purchase the following services:

  1. Support services for individuals and families at-risk of homelessness
  2. Services to Promote Self-Sufficiency in individuals and families
  3. Child Care Services, including Support Services for parents and parent education programs
  4. Developmental and Social Adjustment Services for at-risk youth
  5. Domestic and Child Abuse Services
  6. HIV/AIDS Services.

Term of Contract:

The sub-grant term is January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023.

The County of Morris reserves the right to renew Subgrant agreements for the period of January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024, based upon the annual program review and the availability of funding.

Eligible applicants include:
- Partnership
- Corporation
- Sole Proprietorship
- Limited Partnership
- Limited Liability Partnership
- Limited Liability Corporation
- Subchapter S Corporation
- Nonprofit

All applicants for services must meet the following criteria:
- Be appropriately licensed and maintain the highest standards of quality care.
- Use service outcome measures and performance standards, as required.
- Demonstrate an ability to provide and/or refer individuals to a full continuum of care.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are due by 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022. Applications must be received by 2:00 p.m. on the due date. No exceptions.

Award of contracts by the Board of County Commissioners will be made no later than December 31, 2022.
