Grants to USA nonprofit organizations and government agencies in multiple states to provide affordable housing and related services to low to moderate-income families and individuals during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Funding is intended to build organizational capacity. Applicants must provide services in a TD Bank, N.A. metro market area.

The metro market area includes eligible locations in the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

Housing for Everyone supports organizations that provide affordable housing and wraparound services to help individuals and families with economic stability.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created an increased demand for affordable housing, straining resources and forcing providers to expand their services with limited support. This continuing challenge threatens the national affordable housing ecosystem and the ability to help people achieve financial security in a changing world.

The 2021 competition will address increased demands for housing and services due to COVID-19. This funding will support capacity building for organizations to address resident services for low- to moderate income individuals and families.

Grants will be made available to eligible organizations addressing current needs, including but not limited to:

  • Workforce development
  • Public benefits enrollment and management
  • Housing navigation and eviction prevention
  • Housing counseling (HUD-certified)
  • Financial coaching and education
