Our mission is to restore pride in place and revitalize the communities of Mercer and McDowell counties in Southern West Virginia. Through resident-led cleanups, essential upkeep, and the creation of inviting public spaces, we are dedicated to beautifying neighborhoods and fostering a welcoming environment for all.
We empower individuals through civic stewardship, shared learning, and practical education, enabling them to take ownership of their surroundings and invest in the well-being of their communities. Central to our mission is the celebration of Southern West Virginia’s unique heritage, the cultivation of multigenerational pride, and the strengthening of community and family bonds.
By nurturing a thriving community of practice, we encourage neighbors to support one another, share valuable skills, and collaborate toward shared goals. Our efforts aim to advance civic pride, promote trade and vocational skills, and foster emotional intelligence, ultimately building greater autonomy and holistic community development.
